Depending on the plan selected by your company, Ayvens Assistance can provide help in Belgium and/or another country in the following cases:

• A vehicle judged unfit to drive after a breakdown, accident, fire, act of vandalism or break-in
• Vehicle theft
• License plate theft

Before calling Ayvens Assistance, you first need to complete the following formalities yourself:

• In the event of an accident, complete the entire European accident statement and have it signed by the counterparty. You should always contact the police immediately if there are any injuries, if the other driver did a hit-and-run or if the counterparty is refusing to sign the statement.
• In case of theft or attempted theft, the police must draw up an official report. If you are outside Belgium, you must submit a statement to the local authorities and once you have returned to Belgium, you should submit an official report to the Belgian police immediately.

An technician will come out to help you if necessary. Depending on the situation, they will:

• Permanently repair the vehicle
• Temporarily repair the vehicle so that you can safely drive to a repair shop
• Tow the vehicle and provide a replacement car for 5 calendar days

Assistance is available in all countries listed as standard on the Ayvens green insurance certificate. **
