How can we help you?
The certificate of conformity allows the manufacturer to demonstrate that the vehicle complies with technical and legal requirements. If this document is lost or stolen, you must report it to the police. You should take the following with you:
- Your vehicle (to check the chassis number)
- Your identity card
- A certificate from Ayvens confirming that you're the main driver of the car. You can find this on My driver app.
With regard to the theft or loss certificate, we request a duplicate from the vehicle manufacturer. The manufacturer's price for the duplicate will be charged.
On 1 July 2020, the green card was replaced by a white insurance certificate.
You can download an electronic version of the document via My driver app. We recommend that you also print the insurance certificate on blank, white paper and keep it with the vehicle's on-board documents. You will find the document under the "Vehicle" hub and then under "Documents" in the left-hand column.
If you use the lease car to travel to or through a country outside the Schengen Area, you need permission from the owner of the vehicle. The certificate will then be legitimised by the government.
