ALD announces General Management committee change
ALD today announces that Gilles Bellemère has decided to step down from his position as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ALD, effective 31 December 2022, in order to focus on his role as Chief Executive Officer of ALD Automotive France, the Group’s largest subsidiary, in addition to the direct supervision of ALD Automotive in Morocco and Algeria. He will remain a member of ALD’s Executive Committee.
This decision to adapt the organisation of the Group’s General Management team was approved by ALD’s Board of Directors.
When the acquisition of LeasePlan takes place, expected in Q1 2023, a new distribution of responsibilities and governance of the consolidated entity will be announced.
Tim Albertsen, Chief Executive Officer, comments: “The acquisition of LeasePlan represents a significant step-change and our priority post-closing will be the efficient execution of our integration plan to create the leading global player in sustainable mobility. As ALD Automotive France represents the Group’s largest subsidiary, the adaptation of our current governance will allow Gilles Bellemère to fully concentrate on integration preparations with LeasePlan in France to successfully deliver the strategic development growth and synergies we target in the coming months. Gilles Bellemère will continue to play an important role in the overall current governance of ALD as a member of the Executive Committee.”
