Accidents and damages

In the event of an accident, there are many things to consider. But as an Ayvens customer, you don't have to deal with them alone - we can help you. Our partner InCar service centre will help you with damage repairs, filling in a claim form, booking a replacement car and all other damage-related issues.

If your car has been vandalised or broken into, you must report the damage to the police and file a police report. In the case of a traffic accident, the party at fault must report the damage to his or her own insurance company. Damage repairs to a lease car must be carried out by InCar.

Windscreen damage

Any damage to the windscreen should be repaired as soon as possible for safety reasons. For stone chip repairs and windscreen replacement, you should book an appointment at your nearest InCar workshop using the link below or by calling 0300 247 247.

If the car is not fully insured with Ayvens, you need to file a damage report with your own insurance company for windscreen replacement. For windscreen replacements, the customer will be charged a deductible per insurance policy.

The customer will not be charged for a windscreen repair if the car is fully insured with Ayvens. If the car is fully insured with Ayvens and the glass is repaired or replaced by InCar, there is no need to file a windscreen damage claim. If the repair is not carried out by InCar, a claim must be completed for the windscreen replacement.

Accident report

The damage report is sent to your vehicle's insurance company. For more information about the damage report, please contact our partner InCar: vahinkoilmoitus@incar.fi. To claim insurance compensation, you must file a claim within one year of the date of the accident. If the claim is not submitted to the insurance company within this period, the claimant loses any right to compensation. In a traffic accident, the at-fault party files a claim with their own insurance company. You can also use the link below to make a report to specify your need for a car to get a replacement car, if the other party's insurer requires it.

Accident report with InCar camera

From your mobile device, you can easily report a claim using the InCar camera. With the camera, you can take pictures of the damage, store customer data, choose a repair shop and file a claim with the insurance company all in one go.

We offer several options for damage repair

  1. carReplacement car service

    In the event of damage, our partners Hertz and Europcar can provide a replacement car service, but the cost is not included in the leasing contract. Any cost not included in the monthly contract price can be bypassed through us. However, please check your company's car policy to see which services are available to your company's drivers.

    If you are the innocent party in a collision, the replacement car during the repair will be covered by the other party's traffic insurance. The other party's insurance company must be provided with a statement of use, showing how the car is used for work purposes.

    With the pick-up service, you can conveniently repair damage to your company car from the comfort of your workplace. The damage repair service picks up, repairs and returns the car to your workplace.

    In case of damage, the pick-up service is available in the Helsinki metropolitan area and partly in Uusimaa.

    A service car will repair dents and windscreen pebbles on site in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. You save time and effort when we come to you, instead of having to go to a repair shop.

    When you depart from Helsinki-Vantaa, Oulu, Tampere or Turku airports, we will repair your car or replace the windscreen during your journey. When you return from your trip, your car or a replacement car will be waiting for you at the airport. With Airport Service, you don't have to pay for airport parking.

    At Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, you can easily leave your car in a Europcar or Hertz car park and your keys at a Europcar or Hertz branch. Please check parking at Oulu, Tampere and Turku airports when booking.

    The service is provided by Ayvens' partner InCar. Order Airport Service at least one week before your trip. You will receive more detailed instructions when you order.
