Tyres and tyre changes

All Ayvens service leased vehicles come with both summer and winter tyres. Our main brands for tyre replacements are Nokian Tyres and Continental. Tyre replacements and tyre renewals due to normal wear and tear are also included in the contract. Tyre replacements due to punctures, such as punctures and jamming are not included in the lease.

Book a tyre change

Your company car's tyres can be changed at Euromaster and Vianor tyre centres. When making an appointment, make sure you book an appointment at the right location, especially if your tyres are stored in a tyre shop. Take any tyre locking bolts and the necessary wrench (usually found in the boot of the car) with you when you go to get your tyres changed.

Tyre storage

If your company has a tyre storage facility and you cannot remember where your tyres are stored, follow the instructions on the Vianor or Euromaster booking link. This will tell you where the tyres are stored and direct you to the right place. Please note that tyre storage is not automatically included in the leasing contract. You can check your company's car policy for instructions on tyre storage.

When do I change my tyres and when do I have to replace them?

Winter tyres should be used if the weather or conditions require it during November, Christmas, January, February and March. Winter tyres should be used as long as night frosts are expected. It is also worth bearing in mind that weather conditions vary from region to region. There is no need to rush into changing tyres, especially if you are planning a car journey north.

It is a good idea to have the condition of your tyres checked when you change them. Tyre pressures should also be monitored regularly. The regulations require winter tyres to have a minimum groove depth of 3.0 mm across the width of the main grooves of the tyre pattern. For summer tyres, the tread depth of the main grooves must be at least 1.6 mm. Tyre dealers should seek approval for the replacement of tyres from Ayvens technical service, if necessary.
