We have a great 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity based in our Bristol office to carry out administration of Accounting processes ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy whilst meeting agreed SLA's.

You will be required to work collaboratively with all Accounting Operations teams to provide support during peak periods creating strong working relationships with internal and external customers to provide a positive customer experience.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Management of inbound, outbound calls and bespoke outlook mailboxes ensuring agreed query resolution SLA’s are met

  • Invoice verification on Accounting Ledgers. All Customer invoices are raised with a high level of accuracy within the departments agreed SLA’s.

  • Account reconciliation

  • Adhering to month end deadlines

  • Bulk Vehicle Stock Management

  • Payment and Receipt postings and allocations.

  • Manage queries from both Internal and External Customers professionally, taking ownership of the query with a customer centric approach.

  • Provide support to the Customer Relations Teams

  • Knowledge of processes across the Accounting Operations Department.

  • Support the completion of department controls and audit.

  • Provide Cover/Support across the Accounting Operations Department during sickness, holiday, and at peak times.

  • Ad hoc project work

  • Ensure all E- leaning is completed by the required deadlines

What we are looking for:

  • Previous Experience in an Accounting Operations role and/or AAT level 1 /equivalent.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Evidence of strong organisation skills including time management.

  • Proven ability in working under pressure

  • High Level of numeracy and attention to detail

  • Good standard in IT literacy with particular focus on Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Self-motivated with an interest to work as part of a team
