This role will require travel to the Slough office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
The requirements of the role are set out below and in return we can offer an annual salary between £33,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
Role Purpose
Ownership of the build process for commercial vehicles and the day-day relationships with the commercial vehicle, dealer, converter and ancillary equipment supply chain.
Ensure maximum customer satisfaction, through owning the build process and ensuring customer’s and LeasePlan colleagues are kept updated on build plans.
Role Specifics
Ensure vehicles are built in-line with agreed specification, on time and are fit for purpose.
Support the CV, CSC, Order and CS&Q teams on commercial vehicle / specialist build management requirements.
Ensuring the regular populating of production planning software (Smartsheet) to enable the accurate scheduling and progressing of vehicles in build.
Preparation of vehicle ‘portfolio’ of specification for handover to Technical / in-life teams, including the data storage of detailed specifications & compliance data.
Relationship Management
Manage the day-day relationships with converters, dealers and other 3rd party associated service providers.
Support Tender & Implementation teams for new opportunities where build management is required
Ensuring regular communication with CS&Q in relation to client specific requirements such as driver packs, fuel cards etc
Financial Control
Ensuring CV, CS&Q and Account Management teams are aware of issues relating to price changes, supply terms and general delivery delays.
Reporting & Systems (including Service Level Agreements - ‘SLAs’)
Manage all activity through the Smartsheet (or equivalent), setting and maintaining clear milestones, actions and accountability
Ensuring accurate forecasting of the delivery of vehicles going through build management
Meet all agreed SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) linked to build management
Maintenance of full accurate customer records in accordance with GDPR requirements
Required knowledge & experience
Evidence of relevant industry knowledge
Experience in project management
Degree or Project Management experience led equivalent
Experience in supplier & client relationship management
Fluent in business English language - written and verbal
Good level of knowledge and experience of the build process for complex vehicle production – commercial vehicle ideally
Knowledge of working in a Commercial and Financial environment.
Experience of working in teams and managing stakeholders.
Ability to work independently.
Working knowledge of core Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).
Smartsheet experience an advantage but willingness to learn quickly is essential
Ability to attend client & supplier meetings
Current driving licence
