We are seeking an experienced Pricing & Performance Analyst to join our dynamic team and help drive impactful decisions.
The role is hybrid with a combination of some office time and also time working from home. We are currently based in offices in Slough and Bristol, but in future will move to Bristol, so you will need to be able to travel there on a regular basis.
The requirements of the role are set out below and in return we can offer an annual salary between £38,000 - £48,000 depending on your experience.
Job Purpose:
Develop & manage pricing strategies and governance processes via pricing tools to support the Commercial teams.
Provide pricing and profitability reporting and insight to the sales leadership team to ensure an effective long-term pricing strategy that achieves our annual plan.
Analyse data to identify trends and provide recommendations to optimise the business and improve sales & profit performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain pricing models in line with local and corporate governance rules.
Provide advice, analysis and support to the Commercial team with pricing tools, producing bespoke models and working within governance.
Provide input on pricing strategies and product profitability that align with the commercial plan.
Support Commercial teams by identifying key drivers for revenue growth & providing actionable insights.
Produce analysis and reporting to support the pricing forums including the weekly deal forum & combined monthly pricing forums.
Produce and circulate regular management information on pricing variables, market competitiveness and brand pricing and profitability.
Research market and competitor pricing trends and adapt pricing and commercial strategies to maximise sales performance whilst maintaining market competitiveness.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Must have demonstrable and relevant work experience within a pricing function.
Expert standard on MS Excel and other tools such as PowerBI.
Strong numeracy, influencing & negotiation skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a detailed-oriented and strategic mindset.
Effective communication and presentation skills to convey insights to non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in business English language - written and verbal.
Proven track record within a pricing or statistical environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
Experience in pricing analysis, financial modelling or business performance analysis.
Strong commercial, finance & analytical skills.
Experience of working with pricing models within a commercial and financial environment.
Understanding of business strategies and confidence to question senior stakeholders.
Ability to use negotiating and influencing skills to promote an idea/concept.
Ability to communicate complex technical data insights and concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Experience of actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently.
