CV Show 2024 Highlights
This year’s Commercial Vehicle Show returned to Birmingham’s NEC between 23-25 April, and once again proved to be an unmissable event for fleet decision-makers, showcasing the latest innovations while bringing the industry’s experts together under one roof.
Navigating a changing fleet landscape
The Light Commercial Vehicle sector has never been more dynamic. New technology and sustainability initiatives are changing the way fleets operate, manufacturers are working towards the first mandatory zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) sales targets, while shortages of technicians and parts have put pressure on aftermarket workshops. Expert advice is crucial to help meet those challenges. A new and comprehensive seminar schedule provided a platform to keep fleet operators up to date with the most important topics – such as decarbonisation, safety and recruitment – all aimed at helping them to thrive in a fast-changing sector.
A spotlight on innovations
The CV Show is a great chance to discover the latest products and services for fleets, and it’s often a first UK outing for important new vans, pickups and trucks from leading manufacturers.
This year is no different, with Ford showcasing its expanding E-Transit line-up, Renault offering an early opportunity to check out the new Master van, and a wide range of electric commercials including JLC’s city-friendly line-up, Canoo’s futuristic van, and the B-On Pelkan – fresh from its debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
