Servicing and maintenance
Your vehicle needs to be looked after to ensure it runs smoothly and that you, your passengers and other road users are kept safe.
It’s up to you to make sure your vehicle is serviced in line with its schedule. To see when this is, just check your vehicle manufacturer website or take a look at the handbook. Don’t forget that if your vehicle needs an MOT, you can have this done at the same time.
With Ayvens, there are two ways this can work, depending on whether you use our maintenance service or not.
All you have to do is contact our team to arrange servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOTs. You can do this with our online form or by calling our Driverline on 0345 250 0000.
Depending on the garage, collection and delivery can also be arranged - so please check when you make the booking. You should also let us know at this point if you have any other requirements, such as special assistance or while-you-wait servicing.
Once it’s all booked in, we will:
- contact you by text or email to confirm the details.
- work with the garage on your behalf to set everything up
- track the progress of your service and keep you informed if there are any queries or delays
Not sure if you have our maintenance service on your lease? Just check your contract or speak to your fleet manager.
You’ll need to arrange servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOTs yourself and should be booked based on the manufacturer’s schedule.
You can take it to any main dealer or independent garage as long as:
- They are a VAT-registered business.
- They use manufacturer-approved parts
- They provide paperwork detailing the work carried out. (You will need to hang on to this and may be required to return it with the vehicle when your contract ends.)
What happens with safety recalls?
- If you use our maintenance service, we’ll sort it all out for you. Just call the Driverline.
- If you don’t use our maintenance service, please contact a dealership directly. Please keep in mind that the requirements we’ve highlighted above still apply.
If the recall is safety critical and work cannot be carried out, you must not drive the vehicle. In this situation, get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to help.
