LeasePlan receives outstanding distinctions at the PR Awards 2024
LeasePlan received prestigious awards for its innovative and pioneering approach to communication in this year's PR Awards. Specifically, it received a total of 7 awards for the campaign for International Women's Day developed for it by the creative agency Imba of the IPG Mediabrands group.
LeasePlan's campaign was awarded with one of the top distinctions of the event, the "PR Campaign of the Year" award. For the same campaign, LeasePlan won a PLATINUM award in the "Best in Media & Tools" section, a GOLD award in the same section and specifically in the "Social Media" category and two SILVER awards in the "Best PR Campaign per Sector" and "Best in Communications" sections in the "Automotive" and "Low Budget" categories, respectively. Finally, in the "Best in Communications" section, it received a BRONZE award in the "Storytelling/Creative Content" category and a GOLD award in the "Digital Advocacy & Tech PR" category.
The campaign, for which the company has been awarded, features a range of traditionally 'male' professions in which women excel, to highlight the discrimination and derogatory comments that the majority of women still face when driving, even today. The realisation of the concept was based on innovative AI technology, through which the contrast of the unreal photo with the offensive comments women receive behind the wheel is highlighted.

The PR Awards 2024 ceremony was held at the National Insurance Conference Centre, in the presence of 350 representatives of companies, academics and institutional bodies. The awards have been organized for the last three years by Boussias Events and their goal is to recognize the top professionals and the most innovative projects in the field of Public Relations in our country.
