Winter or summer tyres?
If you have a lease car with Ayvens, seasonal tyres (summer & winter) may be included in your contract. You can find the information in your lease agreement.
Got a new car and not sure if it has winter or summer tyres? Here's the deal: Most new cars come with summer tyres, even in winter, unless you've been told otherwise.
Been driving for a while and wondering what tyres are on your car? Check the tread pattern. Winter tyres have deeper grooves and softer rubber, which gives better grip on wet and slippery roads. Look for the symbol of three mountains with an ice crystal to spot winter tyres.
Tip! Make sure to change your tyres on time. Driving on summer tyres in winter is as dangerous as driving on winter tyres in summer. Check out the tyre guide for more tips.
What should you bring to a tyre change appointment?
In addition to your car, you need to bring the lock bolt keys. This only applies if you received it upon delivery of your car. There are a maximum of two. Note: not every car has this, so don't worry if it doesn't sound familiar.
