Tires

At Ayvens, we prioritise your safety on the road, and one key aspect of that is ensuring your vehicle's tyres are in an optimal condition. Checking your tyre tread and pressure are essential and when the time comes for new tyres, don’t delay!

Winter or summer tires?

If you have a lease car with Ayvens, seasonal (summer and winter) tires may be included in your contract. For exact details, please refer to your leasing contract.

Got a new car and not sure if it has winter or summer tyres? New vehicles are factory-fitted with summer tires, though some models may come with all-season tires. If your new car arrives during the winter months, we will fit it with season-appropriate tires.

Been driving for a while and wondering what tyres are on your car? Check the tread pattern. Winter tyres have deeper grooves and softer rubber, which gives better grip on wet and slippery roads. Look for the symbol of three mountains with an ice crystal to spot winter tyres.

Seasonal Tire Change

Ensure that your car is always equipped with tires appropriate for the season. Driving with winter tires in the summer can be just as dangerous as driving with summer tires in the winter.

To ensure that your vehicle's seasonal tire change is completed on time, we send our customers a detailed guide twice a year regarding the appointment booking process, the availability of service centers, and the option to order a driver service if needed.

Steps in case of a flat tire:

In the event of a blowout or flat tire, stop the vehicle immediately. Warning indicators will appear on the vehicle’s dashboard. Check if the vehicle has a spare tire and whether the necessary tools for the change are available. If you are unable to change the tire yourself, call our 24/7 roadside assistance hotline.

If you notice a recurring loss of tire pressure and the car is still drivable (slow puncture), you can visit the nearest contracted tire repair partner on your own, or contact the Driver Desk using the contact information above. View our tire repair partnersHERE.
