End of lease and return
Everything you need to know
When your lease contract with Ayvens comes to an end, you have three options: return your leased car, extend the contract or buy your leased car. Each choice has its advantages and disadvantages.
Return of the leased vehicle
When your rental agreement ends, you can return your current rental car and consider renting a new one from us! Returning your rental car is a simple procedure, designed to make it easier for you.
Here are the three steps that will guide you through the restitution process:
- Make an appointment
- Consult your company's automotive policy or fleet manager for specific instructions.
- Vehicle Preparation
- Make sure the vehicle is clean, inside and out.
- Remove all your belongings and disconnect your data from the navigation and phone systems.
- Gather all the keys, official documents, and equipment to hand over:
- Vehicle registration document, certificate of conformity and tax sticker.
- Owner's manual and maintenance booklet.
- Fuel card, if applicable.
- Equipment and accessories specified in the certificate of provision (luggage cover, roof racks, navigation DVDs, etc.).
- On-site inspection and return
- An independent inspector will assess the condition of the vehicle.
- Review the inspection report, sign it and then.
- After approval, hand over the keys.
Talking Points- Cleaning: Interior/exterior cleaning is required before return, under penalty of re-invoicing (€150 excl. VAT).
- Maintenance: Maintenance scheduled by the manufacturer must be up to date. A charge of €190 excl. VAT will be applied if maintenance is not carried out.
- Protecting your privacy: Erase all personal information stored in the vehicle.
Extending your leasing contract
Extending your contract not only allows you to continue driving your trusted car, but can also offer several benefits:
- Keep driving your current car: We know that people may get attached to their current car and want to drive it a little longer. This is possible by extending your contract.
- Lower Lease Rate: Take advantage of lower monthly payments by extending your contract.
- Extension of tax benefits: Depending on your car and when you started leasing it, you may still be able to benefit from the tax policies in effect at the time you started your lease.

Purchase of the lease vehicle
If you are interested in buying your car on lease, you can request a quote via My Ayvens. You can apply for a purchase from three months before the end of your contract.
Please note that the purchase price shown in the quote is non-negotiable. Ayvens does not provide estimated purchase prices over the phone.
