Think about winter tyres

In Luxembourg, the use of winter tyres has been regulated since 1 October 2012. It is mandatory to use them in winter conditions on public roads in the Grand Duchy. Failure to comply with this rule results in a fine of 74 euros. The obligation to wear winter tyres depends on weather and road conditions, with no fixed dates for their installation or removal. This regulation is valid all year round, as soon as the weather conditions require it. **

Tip:** Make sure you change your tyres in time. Driving with summer tyres in winter is just as dangerous as driving with winter tyres in summer.

What should I bring to a tire change?

In addition to your car, you must bring the key(s) of your anti-theft nuts. This is only valid if you received them when you delivered your car. There are a maximum of two. ** Note:** Not all cars have it, so don't worry if it doesn't look familiar.
