The smart #1 is part of a new range of electric cars entering the market with a focus on sustainability, luxury and safety. The design was developed at the Mercedes-Benz design studio in Sindelfingen and the platform and production are provided by Geely.

The smart #1 introduces a new concept to the segment. With the #1, smart emphasises space, functionality and luxury. The interior of the smart #1 has been designed with a focus on more interior space. This is reflected in the sliding rear seat. This adaptation offers flexibility in the distribution of passenger and luggage space, depending on what is needed at the time. Handy, isn't it?
A notable feature of the smart #1 is its towing weight of 1,600 kg. This is special for a car in this class and underlines the car's strength. In terms of charging capabilities, the smart #1 supports both 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC charging, allowing fast charging. This ensures an AC charging time of less than 3 hours and a DC charging time of less than 30 minutes for charging to an 80% full battery.
