However, the brand is the undisputed number one worldwide when it comes to the production of electrific cars.With its extensive expertise in batteries, BYD can get a step ahead of other manufacturers for whom battery-based electric drives are a new prospect. BYD's major advantage lies in the fact that it manufactures its vehicles itself, and therefore also produces the semiconductors and batteries. Furthermore, the fact that BYD is planning to build its own factory in Europe shows that it is serious about conquering the Old Continent.
