Report an accident
If your car suffers an accident, and is covered by a vehicle damage warranty, report it directly to the insurance company that handles your make of car. You will receive a claim letter with a case number and information about suitable workshops. For claims not related to the vehicle’s damage warranty, report the claim to the insurance company with which the vehicle is insured. Remember to report your claim without delay, as the insurance company may reject a claim if the claim is received later than 30 days from the date of the accident.
Unilateral damage Report your claim to us via our digital claim form. Go to “Help” on My Ayvens and click on the link “Report claim (online)” to get started.
Two-sided damage Fill in the claim form on the spot together with the other party. If you don't have a claim form with you, change your contact details. You can then easily report the claim in our digital form.
Use your phone to take pictures of both cars. Make sure the other party's license plate is documented. You can add these photos to your claim form.
Damage by an unknown counterparty Was your car damaged by burglary, vandalism or other damage by an unknown party? Please report this to the police as soon as possible.
If your car was damaged by a break-in, vandalism, theft, roadkill, or an unknown counterparty (hit and run), please report this to the police at 114 144.
Don't forget to also report the damage to us within 48 hours by filling out our digital claim form. To access it, klick on "Help" in My Ayvens and select the link "Report damage (online)".
