How to return your car
You can return your car to us in different ways. If you are picking up a new car, you can leave your old car at the dealership where you pick up the new one. If you are not picking up a new car, you can leave the car in the parking lot of your employer, unless we have agreed otherwise. Both options require you to book a pick-up, which you do by filling in our digital return form. The return form, along with instructions and information regarding the return process, can be found on My Ayvens under “Car restitution”.
You also have the option of returning your car to Ayvens facility at Eldarvägen 6 in Täby kyrkby. We are open weekdays from 09.00-17.00, with a receptionist on site to help you with the return.
Depending on your contract and any car policy, you may be able to buy your current Ayvens car at a favorable price when your contract expires. All you need to do is to submit an expression of interest by clicking here and filling in the form at the bottom of the page.
NOTE! You can request a quote no earlier than 60 days before the scheduled return date.
The return form must be sent to Ayvens when you return the car. If you forget to send it in, we will use the date when the return form arrives at Ayvens as the return date.
All the equipment belonging to the car has to be returned together with the car, examples of which can be found in the list below:
- All keys and any remote controls
- Instruction books and service history
- Summer and winter tires on original rims
- Spare tires and/or tire repair kit/puncture kit
- Any equipment belonging to the car, such as charging cable, locking sleeve for locking bolt, tow bar key and cargo covers.
In general, the car must be returned at the contracted end date to make sure that there are no additional costs. We accept that the car is returned the same month as the contracted end date, but if the car is returned earlier than that, it is classified as early termination, which entails an additional cost.
