BMW - from aeroplanes to aerodynamic automobiles

Following its foundation in 1916, the Bavarian auto manufacturer originally built aeroplanes and motorcycles. BMW turned its focus to automobiles in 1928, and never looked back. In the following century, the iconic blue, white and black logo took over both racetracks and streets around the world. Today, BMW is a key player in the premium motoring industry, strengthened by the acquisition of Rolls Royce and MINI. And just like its drivers, BMW shows no signs of slowing down.
