Information Risk Manager (LoD2)
Do you have passion for information risk management and would you like to make an impact in building our regional operational risk function? We are now looking for an Information Risk Manager (2nd line) to join our Regional Center of Expertise and Non-Financial Risk team in and international leasing company.
About the role
This position is a great opportunity for an experienced information risk expert in banking sector. The role is part of Ayvens Regional Centre of Expertise (2nd line) located in Vantaa, Finland. Information Risk Manager provides effective independent oversight, definition and monitoring of the implementation of Central norms and policies framework on all topics related to IT, information, data management and cyber risks across the Nordic countries, measures risk and assesses alternative means of reducing the bank’s exposure to those risks.
Information Risk Manager will become a member of a Regional Center of Expertise Non-Financial Risk (2nd Line) team of three colleagues led by the Senior Operational Risk Manager.
In this role, your main responsibility areas are:
- Definition and monitoring of the implementation of Central norms and policies framework on all topics related to IT, information and cyber risks.
- Contribution to ensure the overall control of IT, information and cyber risks.
- Manage the relationship with country and central Management team for any matter related to IT, information and cyber risk.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Monitor and provide and opinion on implementation of the local adaptation of policies, standards and normative documentation.
- Challenge and assist in the implementation of the information risk management measures to ensure that the processes and controls in place at the 1st Line are properly designed and effective
- Challenge and analyze systems for managing and monitoring IT, information and cyber risks and examine the need for improved risk management for new projects.
- Deliver training and participate in creation of risk awareness and sense of responsibility in the 1st line.
- Contribution to ensure the overall control of IT, information and cyber risks by coordinating and executing the 2nd line of IT, information and cyber risks control and continuous oversight and reporting of the effectiveness of the 1st line.
- Be the point of contact for all topics related to IT, information and cyber risks and build the maintain the relationships with central NFR LoD2 team.
- Contribute and challenge any reporting to committees regarding information risks. Challenge IT, information and cyber risks provided by 1st Line.
To qualify for the role:
You are a people person with strong communication skills that makes you adequate to communicate across various levels within the Group. You are an excellent analyst and critical thinker with a strong drive to identify solutions.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Have experience with risk management practices and techniques including experience in the development and implementation of risk policies (preferably in the banking industry)
- Bring a master’s degree in e.g. business or technology/finance related field
- Have obtained CISSP and CISM (or equivalent) accreditation or obtain these in a short term
- Have a background in (Information) Risk Management or affiliation with risk management and with IT
- Have good communication, presentation and collaboration skills
- Speak and write English and knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages is an advantage.

Compensation depends on the experience and background of the candidate, start level is 4.500 euros. We also offer a good bonus program.
