Maxus - a new world by technology, trust, and ambition
Maxus was originally a British brand before SAIC acquired it in 2010 and began manufacturing in China. MAXUS in Chinese (Datong) means, ‘Great wisdom fits the world. Mastery casts success’. Maxus produces MPVs, pickup trucks, and SUVs for both domestic sales and global export. The first Maxus product, the V80 van, was unveiled at the Auto Shanghai motor show in April 2011. The company integrates ‘customisation’ with ‘electrification, intelligence, connection and sharing’ to break industry boundaries.
