End of your lease contract: what you need to know
When your leasing contract with Ayvens expires, you have four options: switch to a new leased car, possibly extend the lease of your current car, buy your company car or return it. Ask our customer service team about the different options.
Returning your lease car
The car must be returned clean to the Ayvens return point at the time specified in the contract. No appointment is required to return the car. When the car is returned, the condition of the car and its equipment will be checked.

- Choose the Ayvens return point that suits you best.
- No need to book an appointment.
- Prepare your car for return
- Make sure the car is clean, both externally and internally
- Clear out personal belongings, ensuring the car is free of your items.
- Remove personal data from the navigation and phone systems.
- Remove your and your car's data from the car app and any other apps that use your car's registration number or other identifier (parking apps, charging apps, etc).
- Take all your keys, official documents, tyres, electric car charging cable and other equipment with you.
- On-site collection and inspection
- The audit is carried out by an independent external company.
- The restoration inspection will be documented and any damage will be photographed.
- A return inspection form will be sent to the customer by e-mail within approximately one week.
- If repairs are identified during the inspection, they will be carried out in a cost-effective manner, taking into account the age of the car and the mileage.

Cars returned to dealerships
Cars returned to an outlet other than an Ayvens return location must always be agreed upon in writing with Ayvens. Please report information about your car and the return date and location via email to autopalautukset.fi@ayvens.com. Please note that cars returned to other location than Ayvens return locations are subject to a transfer charge according to the service pricelist. Customers are responsible for their cars until the final return inspection has been performed at the Ayvens return location.

Extending your lease contract
Benefits of extending
We know that people may love their current car and want to drive it a little longer. This is possible by extending the contract. Please make sure you check with your company's car policy first.
Not only does a contract extension guarantee that you will continue to drive your reliable car, but it can also bring benefits, such as tax advantages. Depending on your car and when you started leasing, you may be able to benefit from a reduced tax bracket. Find out more on the tax authorities' website. Buying your lease car
An employee driver may have the option to buy a car that has been leased by the company. If you are interested in buying your leased car, you can request an offer from our customer services. You can ask to buy the car three months before the end of the contract.
